COMMODITY MARKET TREND - 22 NOVEMBER 2013

BASE METAL WRAP: Copper futures inched higher on Thursday, as investors looked ahead to key U.S. economic data due later in the session to gauge the strength of the economy and the need for further stimulus.

ENERGY WRAP: West Texas Intermediate crude traded near the highest price in three weeks after applications for unemployment benefits in the U.S. declined, signaling a sustained economic recovery in the world’s biggest oil consumer.

PRECIOUS METAL WRAP: Gold traded near a four-month low, heading for the worst weekly performance since September, after the U.S. Federal Reserve signaled that it may scale back stimulus in the coming months, hurting demand.
